In school I was part of a green enviroment club. I also even/ and still am a planeteer member(I still have the shirt they gave me ^^). I would watch the show(that I'm a fan of), and used to go it's conventions.

I remember I always used, to join any project in school related to green. Still now even if I'm in college. I try to go green as much as I can ^^. Lol I always celebrated Earth day since elementary, and still do. Earth Hour was hard for me to celebrate because of my family. It was either my cousins or something would come up that we had to use electricity. But now I really want to do it this year, and will try too.

Recycling is one major thing I do ^^ Anything Paper, Plastic etc.. that's considered trash. Goes into the bin for me.

Planting is another thing I do frequently lol so it's not only on Earth Day I do that ^^

I've even gone when I need some plain regular t-shirts. I buy organic, green t-shirts .

Lol you could save I'm a green person and I see you are too ^^ Even though I loved doing it since I learned of it, I must admit that show and the planeteer program helped motivate me more.

I remember one of my spare projects was knitted(thanks to my grandma teaching me ^^) some mittens, socks and scarves to send to forgien poor countries. Though now I don't have much time to do it anymore, I still do it, when on my long car trips to visit New York.(I get pretty much done)

I'm also sorta not that much of a meat eater. Not just because I think of animal rights lol but I'm not to fond of it either lol So I hit 2 birds with one stone lol

I reckon!! Read a book by Candel light or somthing for the Earths sake!! I did Earth hour!!! YAY

we don't have any clubs here ,at school or not,,ppl r ignorance about the environment,and don't do anything.they make me sad,one day they will see how important the little things we take for granted today ><

but i try my best like you, and belive it of not i don't like eating meat too,, i don't like how it tast since i was little >< they make me eat it sometimes when i was little coz "growing up "and stuff,but now, i really try not to eat it lol

but i'm still new on the green thing,so may be i could learn more from you ^_^

Awww Thanks I've been a lover of nature an animals since little so I guess that also motivated to be the way I am ^^

I know I also wish more people would go green, but sadly no. But still even if not everyone but one person doing just a small part can make a difference, and imagine groups of people ^^

Recycling is one of the major things that helps especially with paper. All that paper that gets into those green recycle bins, could mean one less tree having to be cut down. Making it better air for us, and better for animals as well ^^


Also there is some great benifits from it lol If you plant fruit trees, you get some free fruit for yourself lol plus saving energy also makes your light bill go down ^^

Lol Sure I'd be happy to go on talking about it ^_^

You're doing good ^^ A little goes a long way

In Eygpt do they have recycling trash company that come and recycle what's in the special bins.

Having that also helps alot. You get to recycle all kinda of paper, plastic. Such as envelopes from mail not being used, cereal boxes, ice cream boxes, milk cartons,office paper, newspaper, ice cream wrappers, even empty bags. Other things such as cans the list can go on.


Also I don't know if that gas station is in Eygpt either but I heard in a documentery that the supposed BP gas, is better for the enviroment. I'm not sure of it though, but still I use that gas whenever possible, since if it is or not it's better then using any of the other regular gas.

Can you believe that in Californa a company actually created a car that ran on battieres instead of gas. But the goverment and board did not approve and did anything to not continue letting it be released, because all they thought in their minds was the less money people would spend owning it. Filthy Hogs


Also I don't remember if I explanied of the oraganic t-shirts. But I find them in my local Walmart over here. The difference is that the fabric has no bleached, pesticids stuff like that. I really think they should do organic "green" jeans but so far they only have t-shirts.

well the garbage men do that,,they pick up the plastic , paper,glass and stuff,and sell them to factories for money,, they don't do it for recycling lol
but at least it get's done hehehe ^_^

we have gas stations,but i don't have a car so i don't really know what types of gas !! ^_^
ohhhh i didn't know that,,O_O yas ppl well save money,,but not that much,they'll have to charge the car and use electricity ^^ so i think it's the same >_<

oh i don't think we have these kind of shirts ^^ !! we don't throw out clothe thou,we give them to poor ppl, unless it's very ripped and dirty,,so we either throw it away or use it as a piece of clothe to wipe with it spells in the kitchen ^^

"green" jeans would be interesting,, i think they should do all stylish cloth like that ^_^ and use paint from organic stuff like food and stuff from nature like ppl used to 1000 of years ago ^_^
it would be cute ^_^ hand painted stuff ^^

Hmmm...over what's in the green bins goes to the recycling corp. I guess it's different over there. but at least they get it recycled.

The station I'm talking about is called BP and it has a green sorta flower on it. I'm not sure if it's just in the states or world-wide, but it's supposed to be gas better for the enviroment.

Ah you're doing a good thing. Giving clothes out to the needy instead of throwing out is always a great thing. Over here when I can't for some reason send mine out to foriegn countries, I send the to the Animal Shelter corp. they resell them and use the proceeds to help animals in need.^^


I know wouldn't they be. They should expand the line instead of just plain t-shirts.

They also release a new line of organic paper towels. That instead of using paper they used another type. It has a tree label on it. And be found again in a Walmart. Also for toilet paper. White Cloud Green, is made of recycled paper so it's a good buy. There's also sometimes in some stores brown unbleached coffee liners.


Speaking of which it's Earth Month, in which Earth Day is in. Walmart is going to have a pretty big line of things brought out called "Save Money Live Green" Having stuff like t-shirts with cute designs on them. So your best bet is a Walmart my guess.

Walmart also carries tons of other normal daily use stuff that you can find. And I think other similar stores do as well. Like those energy saving light bulbs, and even tvs that say engery saving on them.

They carry alot more, like some foods,blankets and other things. To make it easier, when you go shopping and see an item that says either, organic, earth friendly, eco, green or energy saving you know it's a green thing ^^


I also found a list of things you can do, on a earth day poster at my college. Here's the list of 15 things you can do good for the enviro.


1. Use compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) light bulbs.


2. Unplug your appliances when they're not in use.Or try to not leave tvs or lights on when you're not in the room.


3.Whenever possible, walk or ride your bike.


4. Bring your own cloth bag for grocery shopping.


5. Buy clothing made from organic cotton.


6.Recycle as many items as possible so they can be reused to make other things.


7.Cut your food into small pieces so it cooks faster.

8. Buy concentrated detergent to reduce packaging waste.


9.Take shorter showers and turn off the water while shaving or brushing your teeth. Fix leaky faucets to conserve water.

10.Pack lunches to cut down on takeout packaging. Bringing lunch rather than buying takeout at work will also save your family money.


11. Pack your lunch in reusable containers to cut down on the amount of waste created by disposable containers (and to save money over time).


12.Avoid using disposable cups by bringing your own reusable cup to the cafe.


13. Recycle e-waste such as used computers and cell phones and refill printer cartridges to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills.You should find if they have some in your area by looking in your local phone-book.


14.Instead of tossing them out or adding to junk-drawer clutter, recycle your old eyeglasses by donating them to charity. In fact, your eye doctor may accept used glasses, as many practices now have their own programs.

15.Drink Filtered Tap water instead of buying bottled water.
